The Open Letter



My open letter to Red Bull specifically focuses on congratulating them on their successful way of branding. I felt that using the layout of their traditional can would be a good way to lay out my letter, and set it out to look like the fine print and detail that is on every standard Red Bull can. The photos at show the comparison between the can and the letter, colour and layout wise. And if you look close enough you will also notice the reflection of the white print in the can.

The Poster



As an energy drink which takes an extreme approach to their advertising, i thought a poster which is very busy and colourful would be the most successful way to show their domination of the market. Drink Red Bull, or be crushed is the emphasis in this. My photo was outside a local dairy, a common area with your average new papers and headlines. Juxtaposed with an advert about Red Bull.

The Word



My word is Domination purely for the fact that Red Bull has totally taken over the market. I chose to take my photo at the top of Mt Vic and use the city scape at night to create the feeling of a global domination. My grid and thread were the fence and a LED light which i felt worked well with the lights of the city in the background.
